Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before engaging with any of Hearthline's facilitation and coordination services. By making use of our offerings, you agree to the conditions described below. If anything is unclear, you are welcome to contact us for clarification before proceeding.
1. About Hearthline
Hearthline is a family facilitation and coordination service based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We provide structured sessions, workshops, and multi-session programmes that help families communicate more clearly and organise shared responsibilities in a calm, supported environment.
Our offerings are purely facilitative in nature. We do not provide legal advice, financial guidance, psychological counselling, or any service that requires a professional licence in Thailand or elsewhere.
2. Scope of Services
Hearthline currently offers three facilitation services:
- Listening & Understanding Session – A guided sitting (approximately 90 minutes) during which each participant has space to be heard. A facilitator maintains a respectful and constructive tone throughout.
- Shared Planning Workshop – A half-day workshop focused on agreeing family routines, responsibilities, and communication channels in an organised way.
- Household Coordination Programme – A multi-session engagement (typically spanning two to four weeks) supporting families in setting up shared calendars, contact records, and organisational systems.
Session content, structure, and duration may be adjusted by mutual agreement. Any changes are confirmed in writing prior to the relevant session.
3. Nature of Facilitation
All Hearthline services are non-binding facilitation. Participation is voluntary, and no outcomes are mandated or enforced. Facilitators guide conversations and assist with organisation; they do not make decisions on behalf of participants, offer recommendations requiring specialist qualifications, or represent any party in any formal or legal capacity.
Hearthline is not a substitute for legal counsel, financial planning, psychological support, or any other regulated professional service. Where such services are appropriate, participants are encouraged to engage qualified practitioners independently.
4. Bookings and Fees
Service fees are as published on the Hearthline website and confirmed at the time of booking. Fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Hearthline.
- Full payment or an agreed deposit is required before a session date is reserved.
- Fees may be updated from time to time. Any change will be communicated before it applies to existing confirmed bookings.
5. Rescheduling and Cancellations
We understand that family circumstances can change. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel.
- Rescheduling requests made at least five business days before a session will be accommodated without additional charge, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made five or more business days in advance are eligible for a full refund of any deposit paid.
- Cancellations made fewer than five business days before the session may result in partial forfeiture of the deposit, as communicated at the time of booking.
- Hearthline reserves the right to reschedule a session in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, an alternative date will be offered or a full refund provided.
6. Conduct During Sessions
We ask all participants to approach sessions with openness and respect for other attendees and for the facilitator. Hearthline reserves the right to pause or close a session if conduct becomes disruptive or disrespectful to others present. In such cases, no refund will be issued for the disrupted session.
7. Confidentiality
Hearthline treats information shared during sessions as confidential within the facilitation team. Details discussed in sessions will not be disclosed to third parties except where disclosure is required by applicable Thai law or is necessary to prevent serious harm.
Participants acknowledge that other attendees present in a session are not bound by any confidentiality obligations imposed by Hearthline. Participants who wish to establish mutual confidentiality among themselves are responsible for doing so independently.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials, worksheets, frameworks, and written resources provided by Hearthline during or in connection with our services remain the intellectual property of Hearthline. These materials are provided for personal use by participants and may not be reproduced, distributed, or adapted for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
Hearthline provides facilitation services on a best-efforts basis. We do not represent that any specific outcome will follow from participation in our sessions. Hearthline's liability for any claim arising from its services is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service. Hearthline is not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, or outcomes arising from decisions made by participants following a session.
10. Privacy and Personal Data
The collection and use of personal information by Hearthline is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in that document.
